Job Summary
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Position requires 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type: travel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients prior to scanning.
- Provide technical support to physicians and researchers in diagnosis and treatment.
- Obtain required approval and signatures from nuclear medicine physicians.
- Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
- Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
- Perform procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals, under direct supervision of a radiologist.
- Assist patients during procedures.
- Maintain a safe environment by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of NMT experience.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB–CNMT.
- State‑specific licensing when required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
