Job Summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Position requires 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients prior to scanning.
• Provide technical support to physicians and researchers in diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain required approval and signatures from nuclear medicine physicians.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals, under direct supervision of a radiologist.
• Assist patients during procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of NMT experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB–CNMT.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
