Requirements include NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, BLS, and 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience; degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. The 13-week assignment is 40 hours per week, with days shifts, in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field required.
• Certification from NMTCB or ARRT(N) required.
• State licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience.
• Strong technical safety knowledge and patient care focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information.
