American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The position requires ARRT registration and BLS, with 2+ years of experience preferred.

You will perform diagnostic imaging, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and patient care in a hospital setting. The role is a 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a focus on cardiology imaging and quality of care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine from an accredited program.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• License required if applicable (state-specific).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures as prescribed.
• Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures with comfort in mind.
• Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to complete procedures.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Perform venipuncture and maintain aseptic technique.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
