American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment with a day shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday. The role requires active SC or compact licensure, SCRQSA radiographer certification, and NM certification (ARRT/NMTCB).

You will work in a Nuclear Medicine department, potentially floating to a sister hospital. You will perform procedures under radiologist direction, ensure patient safety, supervise student radiologic technologists, and assist

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
• South Carolina or compact license required if applicable.
• SCRQSA Radiographer Certification.
• Nuclear Medicine Certification from ARRT or NMTCB.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine department setting.
• 13-week assignment with day shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
• Uses Cerner for charting.
• May float to a sister hospital nearby.
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures under radiologist direction.
• Ensure patient care and safety during imaging procedures.
• Supervise and assist in education of student radiologic technologists.
• Instruct patients on imaging procedures and assist with informed consent.
• Enter correct orders, diagnosis and history into the system.
• Communicate with radiologists and maintain professionalism.
• Follow radiation protection and ALARA policies.
• Assist other imaging team members as needed, demonstrating teamwork.
• Maintain confidentiality of work information.
