Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, conducting imaging procedures, and ensuring high standards of safety and compliance in a dynamic clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program and ARRT certification, with 18 months of experience, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients.
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provide images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence, patient focused, with timely, compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
