Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 17-week assignment in Albany, Georgia. You will work weekday hours in an acute-care setting, performing nuclear medicine and PET imaging with ADAC Forte, Siemens e.cam, and GE Ventri systems.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of nuclear medicine experience, ARRT/NMTCB CNMT credentials, BLS, and the ability to work independently with on-call coverage during the rotation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• RT(N), RT(PT), or CNMT credential.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine or PET Imaging registration, or NMTCB CNMT certification.
• PET imaging experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently after orientation and participate in rotating on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Prepare patients, explain imaging procedures, and promote comfort and cooperation throughout examinations.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including ADAC Forte, Siemens e.cam, and GE Ventri systems.
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in Meditech and McKesson PACS.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support timely diagnostic imaging services.
• Provide dependable coverage during scheduled shifts and rotating on-call assignments.
