MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a traveling Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date: 10/12/2026.

You will work 40 hours per week, with a 9-hour days shift, performing radiopharmaceutical preparation and imaging procedures. This travel role offers weekly pay, housing assistance or allowance, health benefits, and comprehensive credentialing support through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provide images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment and support national patient safety initiatives.
