Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Houston, TX. The position is 13 weeks long, with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and the travel compensation package designed for travel professionals.

As part of our team you will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, monitor safety, and collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
• Maintains and inspects equipment for proper function and radiation safety.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and ensures safety.
• Operates imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Documents procedure details in patient records.
• Follows safety rules and radiation procedures to minimize exposure.
• Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope.
