Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure imaging quality and patient safety.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, state licensure, BLS, and 2 years of experience, with NMTCB or RT-N certification. Weekend/on-call duties and travel vaccine requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
• BLS certification.
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech.
• NMTCB or RT-N certification.
• Graduation from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program is required.
• 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech in a hospital-based setting.
• BLS from AHA only.
• Weekend and on-call responsibilities are required.
• Expected arrival within 30 minutes of call-in.
• Flu vaccination is required for travelers from November 1-April 1. Client approved declinations/exemptions only.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
• Maintain EMR (Epic) documentation and comply with on-call and weekend requirements.
