Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The role involves performing all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine, with 40 hours per week on day shifts, for a 13-week contract.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, BLS, proper licensure, and have at least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience, along with excellent communication and patient safety focus.

Qualifications

• Must have AHA Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
• BSN from accredited nursing program and proper licensure.
• At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Travel assignment with 40 hours/week and 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations.
• Acquire and process patient studies and prepare readings for physicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete daily records.
• Provide safe, high-quality patient care during travel assignments.
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
