Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Omaha, NE. The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety in collaboration with a clinical team.

Qualifications

One year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech is required.
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and answers questions.
Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety.
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications per protocols and safety standards.
Monitors patients for adverse reactions and ensures safety.
Operates imaging equipment to create diagnostic images as ordered.
Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
