Qualifications

• Requires one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment and ensures radiation safety compliance.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and ensures safety.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
