Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Charlotte, NC. The role requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, and appropriate state licensing where required.

The job features 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and a travel emphasis with a tax-free stipend to be determined. Responsibilities include processing requests, positioning patients, operating the gamma camera, administering radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine required.
• Must have ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
