Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Marys, Georgia. The role requires performing all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine with safety and accuracy, and supporting physicians with reads and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN and active license, AHA CPR, and at least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience. You will work 40 hours per week on days, with 8-hour shifts, in a travel capacity.

Qualifications

• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
• BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations with technical knowledge and good judgment.
• Prepare and process patient studies and readings for physicians; maintain accurate daily records.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures; adapt to emergencies with appropriate action.
• Demonstrate professionalism and leadership in the department; participate in performance improvement activities.
