Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologists for flexible scheduling and travel opportunities through its FirstChoice staffing solution. You will join a program that offers local or travel assignments across multiple hospital locations with premium compensation.

Qualified candidates have an ARRT Nuclear Medicine credential, an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, and BLS certification. Join a Catholic health system committed to patient-centered care and community service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT registration.
• State of Indiana Radiologic License.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and across locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Responsibilities

• Review physician order and reason for exam, prepare patient, position, and perform Nuclear Medicine imaging.
• Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine leadership and Radiologist to produce diagnostic images per department protocols.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images with ALARA techniques.
• Collaborate with FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based care within a healing culture.

What you will Do:

• FirstChoice Nuclear Medicine Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities:

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing Nuclear Medicine imaging of patients.

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works closely with Nuclear Medicine leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.

• Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications: ****** **

• Associate’s degree or higher required.

• Eighteen (18) months of Nuclear Medicine experience required.

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as Nuclear Medicine Tech by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• State of Indiana Radiologic License.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (Note: American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)

• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations.

• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
