Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/Peds night shift assignment in Savannah, GA. The contract runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, on a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM schedule.

Applicants must have active RRT licensure, BLS/ACLS, NRP Advanced (9th Edition), and PALS if pediatric care applies. Prior NICU/Peds experience and no major gaps are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active RRT license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP Advanced 9th Edition certification for neonates.
• PALS certification if pediatric care areas apply.
• Minimum 6 months of recent respiratory therapy experience.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference (two for Florida and Missouri candidates).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to NICU and pediatric patients.
• Maintain certifications; ensure they do not expire within the first 30 days.
• Collaborate with NICU team to deliver high-quality care during night shifts.
