Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist specialized in NICU care for a Seattle, WA assignment. The role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to develop patient care plans during a 21-week contract with 36 hours/week and 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, CPR/BCLS, and preferred ACLS/PALS/NRP. We offer health insurance, 401K matching, and licensing reimbursement as part of a comprehensive travel package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
