Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Edmonds, Washington. This NICU RN opening offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and night shifts, providing competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of NICU RN experience, active RN license in good standing, and current BLS and NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent NICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill/newborns; document conditions.
• Administer prescribed NICU medications and treatments.
• Perform neonatal assessments including vitals and screenings.
• Operate advanced NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, pumps).
• Assist with life-saving procedures (umbilical line placement, intubation).
• Educate families on neonatal care and discharge planning.
