Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Apple Valley, California.

The NICU RN will provide specialized neonatal care in a level III NICU setting, requiring a minimum of two years of nursing experience (at least one year in NICU). This role includes 12-hour night shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week, with a travel arrangement and housing benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of nursing experience with at least one year in NICU.
• Current RN license in practice state; compact license required.
• BLS and NRP certifications preferred; NRP willingness considered.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood and blood products.
• Manage arterial lines and central venous access as applicable.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation support.
• Provide respiratory support and monitor neonatal patients.
• Care for neonates with prematurity, sepsis, NEC, and RSV/ARD.
• Float to nearby units as needed based on experience.
