Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks a Travel RN specialized in NICU to provide critical care to neonates in a state-of-the-art NICU. Stabilize and care for critically ill newborns, perform advanced procedures (intubation, UVC placement, surfactant administration, vent management, CPAP), respond to emergencies, and collaborate with neonatologists.

Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours weekly, in a newly established NICU with advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, experience with IV insertion in infants, strong assessment skills, ability to work independently, and knowledge of infant health decline signs.
• Breastfeeding support and communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize and care for critically ill neonates.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, UVC placement, surfactant administration, vent management, CPAP, needle decompression, TPN, and respond to emergencies including resuscitation.
• Collaborate with neonatologists in a state-of-the-art NICU.
