Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) travel nurse for a Fort Wayne assignment. The RN will deliver critical neonatal care, support families, and collaborate with the care team for round-the-clock coverage.

Requirements include BLS, NRP, and 2+ years of acute care experience. Start date is 10/05/2026 for a 13-week travel engagement with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience required.
• NICU experience preferred for this travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonates transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, nutrition, and specialized feeds.
• Manage lines, catheters, IVs, and arterial/venous therapies.
• Operate NICU equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
