Job summary

TotalMed RN in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS/NRP, and 12-hour night shifts in a travel capacity.

As a NICU RN, you will care for sick and premature infants, monitor vitals, manage feeds, and support families. Pay packages include a tax-free stipend and weekly compensation; start ASAP.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS, NRP, 2 Years* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators.
