Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in NICU for a 13-week assignment in Edmonds, WA. You'll provide advanced neonatal care in a NICU setting while enjoying support from a dedicated clinical team and competitive travel pay.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS and NRP, 1 year of NICU experience, and willingness to cover 12-hour night shifts. Join a traveler-first program with comprehensive benefits and 36 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license valid in Washington or otherwise compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred.
• Preference for NBN/RNC-NIC certification and PALS/ENPC may be required for some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature neonates.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per NICU protocols.
• Operate advanced NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps).
• Assist with life-saving procedures (umbilical line placement, intubation).
• Educate parents on neonatal care and development.
• Develop individualized NICU care plans with the team.
