Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU opening at a teaching hospital. CA RN license and BSN are required; must have AHA BLS/PALS and NRP certifications. Two years of Level III/IV NICU experience and PICU exposure are essential.

The role involves night shifts, floating to nearby pediatric units, and Epic EMR charting. Open to local candidates with housing and travel support; delivers high-pay opportunities with per diem and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required at submission.
• BSN required.
• AHA BLS and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU open bay unit at a teaching hospital.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).
• Every other weekend, most likely Fri/Sat/Sun.
• Floating to pediatric units within 75+ mile radius and UCSF facilities as needed.
• Chart with Epic EMR.
• Ensure comprehensive nursing care for neonates from <24–28 weeks to >34 weeks gestation.
