Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. This position offers nights, 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of NICU RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS and NRP certifications. Additional certifications such as RNC-NIC or PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of NICU RN experience.
• Current RN license in the relevant state.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature newborns, document conditions and responses.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per NICU standards.
• Operate NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps) and ensure functionality.
• Educate and support families on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the team.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
