Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. You will provide specialized care to critically ill newborns in a NICU, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires one year of NICU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/NRP certifications. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and travel-friendly scheduling.

Qualifications

• One year of recent NICU RN experience.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature neonates, documenting changes and responses.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per neonatal nursing standards.
• Perform neonatal assessments including vitals, weights and screenings.
• Operate NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps) and ensure proper function.
• Assist with life-saving procedures (umbilical line placement, intubation).
• Educate parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques and developmental support.
