Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a NICU position in Montana. The role requires MT or compact RN license, NRP, and STABLE certification, with a 13-week assignment.

You will work in a Neonatal ICU setting with a variable shift schedule, possibly weekends and holidays, collaborating with the healthcare team to educate patients and families.

Candidates must have at least one year of NICU or related critical care nursing experience and be willing to meet distance requirements.

Qualifications

• Active MT or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) provider certification
• STABLE certification
• Minimum 1 year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or Intensive Care nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Neonatal ICU
• Work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Complete 13-week assignment
• Collaborate with healthcare team to educate patients and families
• Assess patient needs and initiate nursing interventions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in stroke education requirements including initial and annual training
• Must live at least 90 miles from the facility
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract
