Required Skills and Certifications

• Safe medication administration including calculation of medications
• Administer medications and EMB using the 5 patient rights
• Appropriate handling of EMB
• Care of patients with NG/OG tubes
• Follow feeding orders and recommendations from OT/ST
• Care of patients on CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nasal Cannula
• Care for patients with PIVs, PICCs, UAC/UVC
• Safely care for patients 22 weeks and above
• Understands use of all equipment in the NICU
• Promotes safe sleeping at 32-34 gestation
• Can demonstrate developmentally appropriate care when handling preterm infants
• Proficient in lab draws
• Knowledgeable in escalating patient concerns
• NAS scoring
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETT, Ventilators, JETs, Cooling, Surgical patients

Pay Information

Insurance Plans starting under $175/month for employees

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

*Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ from the amount shown and may be subject to change during an assignment.
