American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The role involves NICU, PICU, and general inpatient respiratory care with rotating 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour workweek.

Supported by a 24/7 team including supervisors and clinical specialists, this travel assignment offers on-site facility orientation and potential on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RRT certification is required.
• AA Degree is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• NICU experience required.
• Critical care and general respiratory care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification required for NICU assignments.
• South Dakota RCP License required prior to submission.
• EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, and general inpatient settings.
• Operate ventilators and related respiratory equipment.
• May rotate shifts and participate in on-call coverage.
• Utilize EPIC charting system and Omnicell.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
