Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Mesa, Arizona. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate neonatal care in a busy NICU, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The position requires a valid RN license in the state, BLS, and at least one year of neonatal/acute care experience. Preference given to BSN holders with neonatal certification.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting with neonatal patients.
• Preferred: BSN and neonatal care certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and documentation per facility policies.
• Participate in patient care planning, execution and ongoing evaluation with family and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document care activities, patient responses and physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuing education and mentoring of new staff or students.
• Interact with patients, families, and external providers to coordinate care and provide spiritual support when needed.

This position requires a dedicated RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within the NICU environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting working with neonatal patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing and professional certification related to neonatal care.
• Provides direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
