Job Description

The Neuro ICU/IMCU RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in both the ICU and stepdown units, with floating between the two likely. Strong neuro experience is required to ensure efficient patient management and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in both Neuro ICU and stepdown units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage critical care interventions and respond to patient needs effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU or related specialty.
• Active RN license verified through Nursys.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Skills checklist and recent references required.

Pay package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
