Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Lubbock, Texas. This 13-week travel contract requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with 3x12-Hour blocks and six weekend shifts every 6 weeks.

The Neuro Tele RN will work in a fast-paced, short-term acute care setting focusing on telemetry and neuro patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and patient education for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in telemetry or neuro unit.
• RN license valid; compact license preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor neuro patients and stroke care in telemetry unit.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage related interventions.
• Collaborate with IV, PT, and respiratory teams to provide patient care.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
