Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Neuro IR role at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital in Charleston, SC. The position requires 2+ years of IR and Neuro experience, BLS and ARRT(R) certification, with ACLS and RCIS preferred.

On-call duties and a 40-hour workweek are included. Travel assignment details include 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shifts, 5x8 hours, 13 weeks, and local travel considerations within a 60-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro.
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required.
• ACLS and CCI RCIS certifications preferred; AHA certifications only.
• Radiation badge required and must be supplied by the traveler/agency.
• License required if applicable; Driver's license and SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform Neuro IR procedures as part of a Level 1 trauma team.
• Manage a daily caseload of 4–5 IR cases per technologist.
• Work 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, five 8-hour day shifts.
• On-call every 5th weekend and one night per week; must remain within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call.
• Utilize Epic for charting.
