Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Neuro ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adult Neuro ICU patients and educate families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor vital signs and respond to signs of distress.
• Administer medications and manage IVs and catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of care and interventions.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately and promptly.
