Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU Neuro) position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized critical care to neurological patients, with responsibilities aligned to patient acuity and clinical protocols. The position requires dedication to patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts totaling 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); two years of clinical experience in a comparable setting; willingness to work every other weekend, every other holiday, and potentially float to the Neuro Intensive Care Unit; familiarity with electronic medical records system (Epic); appropriate scrubs attire (navy blue pants with solid navy-blue tops or solid white, with solid navy-blue or solid white jackets).
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certifications are preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: The facility maintains a beds-to-patient ratio of 1:2, which can flex based on patient acuity. Staff may be required to float to a Neuro Intensive Medical Care unit. Orientation consists of two shifts, with additional shifts as needed. Shift expectations include working from 7 PM to 7 AM. The hospital can cancel up to two shifts per twelve-week period or three shifts per thirteen-week period without penalty.
