Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Certified Medical Technologist to validate and report laboratory test results across multiple procedures including chemical, microbiologic, immunologic, hematologic, molecular, and immunohematology tests. The role involves prompt, efficient interpretation and communication of results.

This contract assignment runs for 13 weeks with 5x8 evening shifts, offering health insurance, 401K matching, new licensing reimbursement, and national staffing support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist (Certified Medical Technologist)
• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from lab or directly from patient
• Prepare and test specimens including blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids
• Perform hands-on tasks in drawing blood and preparing the area
• Monitor vital signs when working with patients
• Analyze and report specimen test results

We currently have a client in Mount Pleasant, MI looking for a Medical Technologist (Traveling Medical Technologist)

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Certified Medical Technologist, who is responsible for the prompt, efficient, and accurate validation and reporting of laboratory test results. Our Medical Technologist performs routine chemical, microbiologic, immunologic, hematologic, molecular, and/or immunohematology laboratory procedures. The Medical Technologist interprets, communicates and records test results.

Contract Assignment: 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Shift: 5x8 Evenings
