Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Travel MS/Telemetry RN for a Nights assignment. This float pool role requires working across four facilities with a 13-week contract, 36 hours guaranteed, and a bill rate of $85/hour.

The RN will provide safe, evidence-based care for MS and Telemetry patients, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a fast-paced multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS are required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Recent MS/Telemetry experience.
• Strong telemetry assessment and clinical judgment.
• Willing to float between four facilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with clinical judgment.
• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and the inter-disciplinary team.
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities based on staff competency.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education.
• Adapt quickly to different departments and facilities within the float pool.
