ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Cleveland, Ohio. The position is a 13-week contract with 3-12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) and 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 12+ months of permanent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience, Ohio or compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS with NIHSS readiness. A recent manager reference is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license at submission.
• American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date.
• Recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will support patient care during the winter coverage period.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and assessments.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient care plans and outcomes in compliance with facility standards.
• Complete required competencies and assessments during orientation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• A recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
