Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Ocala, Florida. The position features a 36-hour work week with 12-hour evening shifts, travel benefits, and competitive pay.

You will operate MRI scanners, ensure patient safety, and contribute to accurate imaging in a fast-paced clinical setting. Travel and housing support, credentialing fee coverage, and benefits including health insurance and retirement options are provided by MedPro or its clients.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils for scans.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a patient-focused, safe, and professional care environment.
