Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract in Decatur, Illinois. The assignment is 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts, starting 11/09/2026.

This position offers travel credentials and comprehensive benefits through a Joint Commission-certified agency. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with clinical teams in a fast-paced travel environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils, and manage contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
