Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and BLS.

The technologist will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and assist radiologists in a fast-paced travel setting. The position offers a 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week, and a 17-week duration with a tax-free stipend as applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in MRI required.
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and state license as applicable.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and handle MRI safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI while following safety protocols.
• Assist radiologist during MRI procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI image quality and label images correctly.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
