Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Michigan City, IN. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with applicable state licensing.

This position involves performing MRI imaging, patient prep and safety, image quality checks, and collaboration with radiologists. Travel duties include 8-hour evening shifts and 40-hour weeks for a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS certification is required along with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and state licensing when required.
• Must have ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work evenings.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and explain procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety.
• Position patients and prepare for MRI scans.
• Load contrast media and operate injectors.
• Ensure image quality and proper labeling.
• Maintain patient records and use McKesson PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists.
