Job summary

Flagstar Nursing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. You will perform high‑quality MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and adhere to all regulatory standards.

The role offers 40 hours per week, night shift (8 hours), and travel compensation. Work with radiologists and the healthcare team to obtain optimal images while maintaining accurate records in EMR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification (RT) with MRI certification (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures using established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety (e.g., implants, contraindications).
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust technical parameters for optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions.
