Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for a travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with state licensing where required. The position runs 26 weeks, 40 hours per week, with days shift and 8-hour blocks.

You will operate MRI equipment, prepare and care for patients, and ensure accurate imaging for physician interpretation. Knowledge of PACS and IV/contrast procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and handle MRI procedures.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety.
• Position patients for MRI scans.
• Assist radiologist with procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use McKesson PACS.
