Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Flint, Michigan. The position involves 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and travel assignment logistics handled by TotalMed Allied.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and any applicable state licensing. Responsibilities include patient prep, safety screening, image acquisition, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• BLS certification and applicable state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient ID and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans with immobilization and safety.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and label/collate results.
• Operate power injectors for contrast administration.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system for imaging workflow.
