Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 24-week assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration.

Shifts are 12 hours, 36 hours per week, with travel benefits and safety responsibilities outlined. The MRI Tech will operate MRI equipment, ensure image accuracy for physician interpretation, and assist radiologists.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration
• State licensing when required

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity, review imaging requests and explain procedures
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Position patients for MRI scans and assist radiologist
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and proper labeling
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast
• Follow safety procedures when working with MRI and radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
