Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an academic medical center's Neuro MRI unit, requiring ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience.

Details

• Work in the MRI Neuro unit of an academic medical center clinic
• Perform Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI procedures
• Mon-Fri schedule with 8-hour shifts, no call, no overnights, and no holidays
• Day shift options include 6:30AM-3PM or 8:30AM-5PM, and evening shift 2PM-10:30PM with no rotation required between shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience as a staff tech required, or 3 total travel assignments
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active MR license required if applicable
• Must demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a high acuity academic medical center environment
