Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Pipestone, MN. The role involves operating MRI scanners, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

You will interact with patients, administer contrast when required, and adhere to safety protocols throughout the imaging process. The position offers travel-friendly benefits, competitive pay, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI.
• One year’s experience as an MRI Tech.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust scanning parameters.
• Document all procedure details in hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely results.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and follow infection control.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and perform other duties as assigned.
