Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for evening shifts, requiring MRI and Siemens equipment experience along with ARRT MRI certification.

Details

• 324-bed medical center with 24-hour emergency care and Level II trauma care
• Uses Epic EMR and Siemens MRI equipment
• 5x8 hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• One weekend per month required (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• No call requirements

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to MRI specialty required for consideration
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Prepare scan room and patient for MRI examinations, including administering IV or oral contrast as needed
• Screen patients for contraindications, explain procedures, and answer patient questions prior to imaging
• Position patients appropriately and utilize correct protocols, coils, and restraints during scans
• Ensure proper image orientation and prepare complete records for radiologist review
• Matching scrubs of any color required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
