Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel contract in Richmond, Virginia. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with nights.

You will operate Philips MRI systems, follow imaging protocols, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records in a hospital setting. Applicants should have ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration, an associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, and current licensure if applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT/ARMRIT or CAMRT registered.
• Phillips MRI Systems experience.
• Current state license (if applicable).
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. As an MRI Tech, you’ll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered
• Phillips MRI Systems experience
• Current state license (if applicable)

BLS certification required

2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center

Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills

MRI Tech Contract Details:

• $2,168 - $2,393 per week*
• Hospital setting
• 13 week contract, with possibility to extend
